Massively depends on what you have installed.
Mine is the corporate
spywaresecurity tools.ya, windows 🥲 for school. Always chalked it up to Recall/Copilot since I don’t use it for anything else
In Germany we have “Iserv” for school, where, after every login, your personal files get synced to the Computer. :) (Also other small stuff like Desktop Background, Program links etc.)
As the Server runs on Linux you have a lot of commands running for a moment to get everything done.

It could be a few different things. Apparently if a shell process generates an error or warning it can trigger a window to open, display the message, and immediately close. Things like a program using a script to run itself startup and then not deleting that script after being uninstalled can cause it to happen.
Some (lazy) programs just do that.
They’re atonishingly easy to hide though.
Consequently any virus worth its weight in salt will hide the terminal window before executing.
