cm0002@lemmy.worldOPto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What do you hope to achieve in the next 5 years?21·22 hours agoLol I’ve always wanted to get a pilots license to replace my commercial air travel, but damn is it expensive and even more expensive to fly anywhere and maintain the plane lmao

cm0002@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What community would you like to see more active on Lemmy?61·23 hours ago!india@Piefed.social is still moderated And not on .ml, but smallish because it just moved over there (needed to move over from !india@lemm.ee because of .ee shutdown)
cm0002@lemmy.worldOPto Books@lemmy.world•Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, by Jules Verne13·23 hours agoI find that questionable as it is, but linking to sites like this here kinda convinces me that you are Up To No Good.

cm0002@lemmy.worldOPto Fuck Cars@lemmy.world•Good public transit > self driving carsEnglish12·2 days agoIf it’s high density with the option of single family housing integrated, I’m fine with that. I just hate apartments
cm0002@lemmy.worldOPto Fuck Cars@lemmy.world•Good public transit > self driving carsEnglish22·2 days agoMy issue is more on the “apartment building” aspects. Apartments suck, sharing walls/floors/ceiling with others sucks. Lots of apartments means lots of opportunity for just one apartment to get infested with something that will quickly spread to others even if they do nothing to attract said pests (e.g. keeping a really clean place)
Or just one dumbass flooding the place or a fire breaks out
Apartments also means constantly having to worry about being too loud or dealing with others who don’t care
If there’s a version of high density that also allows for Single Family Housing for those who want it, id be cool with that
cm0002@lemmy.worldOPto Fuck Cars@lemmy.world•Good public transit > self driving carsEnglish45·2 days agoI’d be with ya except for one tiny issue, living in high density housing sucks ass
Could we/should we condense suburbia down? Absolutely. Should we get rid of it entirely in favor of high density? Fuck no

Edit: I see @zombiewarrior@techhub.social edited it to clarify it was a joke lol man you got a remember those tags with things like that, there are more than a few users who would unironically say shit like that LMAO

Today it’s “rape content” tomorrow, it’s vanilla porn, then the day after it’s LGBTQ+ affirmative content
Hi! Yea, I’ve been cross-posting quite a bit from .ml comms to non-.ml comms because of the major issue of the .ml instance
