Yes he is, except not slowly. Which is why choosing to use miserly or cheap or tight-fisted or mean, and keep those syllables out of our mouths and ears, is preferable. Choosing to use it, when there are so many alternatives, carries a certain aspect of, “You’re not wrong, you’re just an asshole.”
