PTB because rule 1 - “Be civil” is super inappropriate when it comes to an ongoing genocide and removing someone calling out propaganda in an impolite way is in a way taking sides
more on a personal note: Are you really sure you are helping Palestinians with this kind of online posting? Like I think you could actually make reasonable arguments instead of making snarky comments. Also every comment under Israeli propaganda increases the reach of said propaganda, especially on Lemmy where comments increase the “Active” metric by a lot and push otherwise ignored posts into the feed of thousands
That is true. I just migrate and block to avoid wasting energy on undeserving people. I have a feeling that the mod in question feeds off making people feeling angry and powerless and I blocked them a long time ago.

One could argue that tone policing about ongoing genocide to keep it going is tye height of civility.
But I’m just being a bitter pedant. PTB, may it drown in its own rancid piss someday.
I actually second that. Block the suckers and move on. Worst case they end in a small eccochamber. Best case they end up yelling into empty space.
Blocking the mods doesn’t stop them removing your comments because they justify genocide.

Yes, using their freedom of speech does help their cause and it is important and can change minds.
