I don’t know where you’re buying your stuff, but in Washington State, the stuff you can get in the store is immensely cheaper than buying it illegally ever was, and it’s much higher quality.
Had some family come over for a visit and they were shocked that they could purchase an entire ounce of weed for $21.
Yeah, I can choose from 1 local dispensary (5 min drive), about 40 rez dispensaries (7-20 min drive), or a couple old school dealers, and it’s the legal local who wins 99% of the time.
The rez dispensaries are far, far better for edibles: no limit on thc level, so you can purchase 2000mg bars or whatever, whilst Ontario law limits the whole package to 10mg.
FYI, the “oversight” committees in charge of regulating those numbers are notoriously corrupt and wildly inaccurate — regardless of location. Not unlike taking some rando plug’s word for it, frankly.
There’s certainly a booming market for gouging the whitey-come-latelies, and I’m not entirely opposed to it, but… Good to hear you’re smarter than that, frent. 😜
2: Most people that do smoke weed do not smoke weed all of the time.
3: The $21 an ounce weed was an example of 1990s quality weed and not of the highly powerful exotic hybrid enhanced saturated stuff that you can get. Most people prefer to smoke the more expensive, more powerful, condensed stuff.
Perhaps they genuinely thought I wasn’t aware that not everyone smokes weed, but it came across as though they were being defensive over something that was meant as a throwaway statement.
Rhetorical questions are fun to put together and also to tear down bad takes, but it takes a lot practice which is why debate clubs in schools and communities are so critical.

So, the meme doesn’t really apply in my hood.

Grow. Your. Own. 🤦🏼♂️
Was just in Yellowstone (aka Yellow Stoner) and was amazed to see how much they charged compared to California, Washington and Colorado.
Then I realized they cater to Wyoming and Idaho for their weed needs and it made sense from a supply/demand perspective.
There’s certainly a booming market for gouging the whitey-come-latelies, and I’m not entirely opposed to it, but… Good to hear you’re smarter than that, frent. 😜
Imagine their faces when they see the price on “pre-rolls”!
Now, fast forward to the moment they catch a glimpse of the dispo clerk sweeping up and quickly dropping that all into the pre-roll prep bucket.
Annnnd, we’re back to the lesson of “fast food” being neither, eh? 🤦🏼♂️
Bro I’m paying £150 (about $200) a zed, and that’s cheapish for the UK, your prices are mad; how do you guys ever get anything done?

Chill mate, it’s called a joke.
You sound like you need some of the stronger stuff tbh man.
There’s nothing rude about their comment, maybe you need to take your own advice?
Love Washington. I take an edible when I’m having trouble sleeping. About $20 for 100mg of THC/CBD blend.
Perhaps they genuinely thought I wasn’t aware that not everyone smokes weed, but it came across as though they were being defensive over something that was meant as a throwaway statement.
Not defensive, I just enjoy answering rhetorical questions. It’s a hobby of mine.
Fuck yeah.
Rhetorical questions are fun to put together and also to tear down bad takes, but it takes a lot practice which is why debate clubs in schools and communities are so critical.
Pathos, logos, ethos, my dudes.
Exactly my point. Starting a debate over a comment is defensive in nature.
You do you mate; but I’d say there are better hobbies out there.
Besides, I never asked how many people smoked weed, so you weren’t answering a question at all, You were just being belligerent.
