Just in case people are wondering about this, it’s true. Clover is a legume. Meaning it gets nitrogen from the air and puts it into the soil. This effectively means the clover is fertilizing the soil. Seeing lots of clover can be a sign that the soil lacks nitrogen and can’t grow much else.

More likely running Wind River’s VxWorks. Which, as far as I know is the big dog in the RTOS space. The OS being deterministic is super important in safety critical applications like flight computers and cars. Wind River does have a linux distro, but I don’t think VxWorks is. “Max spec” is closer to base specs on other vehicles. That 30k is likely an optimistic number. I hope I’m wrong, but I’m not expecting much from Slate. Maybe they’ll drive enough buzz to get the market to realize there is a demand for smaller, more affordable vehicles.
