Is this meant to be read to the beat of we didn’t start the fire?
I mean this is how “bath salts” got their name, so it’s not unheard of. They have cracked down on the Chinese side since they originally were popular.
Even if it’s not tone deaf, it’s just fucking weird. Also what do we all think about this commercial, to me it somehow gets weirder.
Yup. The dangers are way more understood now. Between that and price, the wine industry is in tears right now. They have had worst sales YOY for last couple years than in recent history.
The entire alcohol industry is in decline because of younger drinkers, or lack thereof… Worst hit is Champagne, then wine. Expensive liqours and domestic beer have been hit pretty hard. Microbrewers are having the business trouble they always have, but most seem to be doing alright with the younger crowd with hard seltzer options.
I think a big issue is that third places have disappeared or not kept up with culture. All that’s near me are bars and Masonic Lodges, younger men are trying to drink less and don’t want to wear weird robes to hang out with other guys.
Not sure how expensive it was during biblical times, but you can buy frankincense resin for $10/100 Gram, so seems cheap.
I wonder if it would make more sense for safe blue district politicians to campaign for and spend their money on their colleages in the redrawn districts. They are sure to win their districts anyway, with the margins so thin they might tip the scales.
It would have to be intentional unless the liqour stores are splitting cases up. The packaging was marked correctly.
I am never for all out banning stuff, but I think some regulation of this makes sense as long as it doesn’t touch kratom or its products itself. At least labeling regulations.
I hate when people take an isolate of something and sell it in huge doses and then try to use the fact that the thing it was derived from is safe as justification for it.
They will sacrifice some R that’s no longer relevant
Well he might globally, he has a lot of fans unfortunately.
What’s even better is just the other night I was on this thread about Frankincense being an antidepressant. So my brain immediately went to that.

Its from Thailand… There is a stop between the word and a heavy emphasis on the y.

Yeah, but they weren’t inhaling an isolate. It’s all about the dose.
Edit: I misread your comment. I don’t know why there isn’t more research into the pathways frankincense uses to generate its effects. Probably because it’s rarely been used in a directly applied medical way instead of a communal or ceremonial use.
Extract in a passive nasal inhaler device like Poy-Sian would probably work.
Probably shouldn’t experiment with large doses of barely understood substances… But if someone really wanted to.
You can buy Incensole Acetate from chemical companies, but it’s like hundred dollars for a few milligrams. Would have been cool for it to be cheap this form because you could probably use it in a passive nasal inhaler device at that strength.
However you can buy 4oz of frankincense resin for ~$30. I would imagine that will have much more of Incensole than a few mg. No idea if it would be easy to inhale in vapor form or if you would have to burn it.
No idea how reputable these sites selling it are, but here is one.
Didn’t native Americans use log canoes?
