On a side note, it’s nice to meet a Czech person here. I made the mistake of visiting Prague once, and I’ve been craving knedliky and gulash, fernet stock, and Alphonse Mucha art ever since.

Hoping to visit your country in a year or so, any recommendations for places to see/things to eat the most? Always love getting an idea of someone’s favourite parts of their home.

I have a good friend who is Czech and I spent a couple weeks there with her family. One of my takeaways from this trip was that Czechs like mushroom picking, and are proud of how many castles there are (Czechia doesn’t have the absolute highest number of castles, but apparently it does have the highest castle density)

I’d be lying if I said the castles weren’t one of the biggest reasons for my interest. I spent the better part of the past year playing Kingdom Come Deliverance, and it’s broiled an interest in that part of the world’s history for sure. Your comment makes me feel like I’m making the right choice!
