I think this post might indeed be an example of one of those situations as described in the post, perhaps indeed

Is that not a normal thing to do? I often write a much longer post and then realize large sections of it can be deleted.

I usually try to just edit the large sections that could be deleted (making them longer).

Longer, but also with more parentheses.

Shout out to all the people out there who never asked but still try to listen patiently

I honestly don’t understand how mostly my coworkers have so much patience with me. I’m really glad they do though.

I’m just leading with the inevitable explanation that will be requested.

Ah, but you see that deprives your readers of the opportunity to post the inevitable question! And for others to respond with the inevitable but probably incorrect explanations, while you’re still typing. It’s all good clean fun.

Fuck that, I’m already three steps into this conversation before I even post my first reply. If I get the opportunity to skip the pleasantries and be efficient I’m going to take it.

My friend has discord nitro because of the removal of the character limit, and only that reason

I also have basic nitro for the same reason. But also for file size limits. I have too many memes

I relate to this so hard. I always reread anything before posting, because my sentences in English (not my native language) tend to be convoluted as fuck. No, I won’t reread this before posting.

The best is when you find people who also communicate like this and know how to reply to messages with multiple questions/points.
