Isn’t there an ad free version for like $3.99? Why not just do that? Its been so long since I’ve seen an add using Boost that I kind of forgot it was a thing
because i don’t mind the ads as long as they don’t start on full volume, and i highly dislike being made to pay money to undo a change that was made
Wasn’t Boost for Reddit a paid app? I seem to recall paying money for it.
They had a free version as well, but I’ll usually buy an app if they use a one-time-purchase model
Boost’s ad-free version might as well be the one-time purchase. It’s just more beneficial to the developer to not gatekeep their app behind a paywall by releasing a free version with ads to make up for giving it out for free. Especially when it’s an app like this where there’s a dozen other alternatives that people try before settling on one. Most users wouldn’t even bother trying it if they had to pay up front.
Install Google opinion rewards and just accumulate the money needed to buy an ad free copy my dude.
