NEW YORK (PIX11) — Blackstone executive Wesley LePatner was identified as one of the victims killed in the mass shooting at 345 Park Ave. on Monday, according to a spokesperson for the company.
LePatner was the Global Head of Core+ Real Estate and the Chief Executive Officer of Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust (BREIT), according to Blackstone’s website.
According to her LinkedIn profile, LePatner spent more than a decade at the company after previously working for Goldman Sachs.

I don’t know anything about Wesley LePatner. Maybe she was the only innocent person at Blackstone and spent her whole day collecting a paycheck while scrolling Instagram. But if she really did embody the best of Blackstone, then frankly, she got what was coming to her. That company has been responsible for the immiseration and impoverishment of millions.
“Best of Blackstone” kind of has “stinkiest of shits” vibes.
Blackstone is quite literally one of the most evil entities ever created. To embody “the best” of it would mean to utterly shed your humanity in favor of oligarchical power. Fuck her. I hope she choked and drowned in her own blood.

I mean, yeah, but Blackstone is absolutely not a “good” company. They’re a MASSIVE corporate residential landlord, which is a thing that should frankly be outright illegal.
