A better translation would be: “The first photo in which the stone owl from the roof of our horse stable has a ‘friendly’ face”
The translator was probably confused by the verb “dreinschauen” which (roughly) means making a certain facial expression.
Thank you. I always like when someone that understands can clear up these finer points.
I believe this was just Facebook’s built in translation, which usually seems pretty bad, especially with animal related words. This one seemed pretty short and simple, so I just grabbed that. Longer and more technical things I run through Google Translate and usually have much better luck.
Excise me that’s an owl.
