oh yes, i see! thanks, I almost always use soft pen. I expect the challenges will help me become acquainted with the other tools better, which is definitely a weak point of mine; not taking full advantage of such a useful app.
you use it professionally? I’m always surprised more people aren’t using it. or at least I’m not hearing about it more.
I started using the app years ago, and after exploring the app over a few days, I was always confused how it wasn’t the number one free choice for many digital artists, but then I’m not really in that sphere as more than a hobbyist.
infinite painter still seems unfairly and almost bafflingly relegated to a rather obscure user base, despite having such a comprehensive toolset.
do you use a stylus and a tablet? I just use my finger, but I’ve considered getting a stylus specifically for IP. maybe if it becomes more than an unpaid hobby.
Just a hobbyist myself. And based on how good the tool is and how polished I’m surprised by your findings as well. When I tried to find videos and tutorials on the Internet it was easier than my last app, but nothing like GIMP or Photoshop.
And I use either a Samsung tablet or phone that comes with the pen. I also have a Windows tablet that I use with GIMP when I feel like I need a resolution over 4k*4k which is almost never. My phone and tablet start to struggle past that on the last app. Haven’t tried higher on this app but the 7.1 update bragged about how much more efficient it is so I’m going to try it soon and see what I get.
I really like infinite painter, and I think you’re the first other person I’ve known who uses it.
your painting came out great, those two peaks in the background give a necessary sense of depth to your piece.
where are the challenges in the app?
Thank you!
And when you first open the app you have start from blank canvas and a few other options, the fourth option is challenges.

Same! I’m already overwhelmed by all the options here, which is great. But my old workflow I’ve already doing everything I need for it.
