Went modular recently (scorpion exo 960) and can never go back. Ignore the uh… tomato’s growing in the background, I’m in a state it’s legal to grow in and this was the only pic of my helmet I had lol

Sharing since mine is pretty cool out of the box :D Caberg Ghost, without the chin guard it comes with but with a tube scarf thing covering the exposed area so that I don’t eat ze bugs.

Bought this a week ago, it’s a HJC i91. Equipped it with a Cardo freecom 4x. Feels like a nice lid!

Older ones I have are Schuberth C3 and C4. some Older HJC and a Nolan. All are flip-up model because they work best with glasses.

To each their own. When I was really young, one of my cousins died on a motorcycle when he hung the chin of the helmet on something and broke his neck.

I know it is completely illogical. But I have a terrible fear of those helmets since then.

And I’m guessing because I put my first 75,000 mi on underneath a bucket. The full helmets feel extremely stifling.

When I was over in Europe it was impossible to get a beanie that was also legal and even the 3/4 helmets made me feel like I was traveling in a bubble. Disconnected.

Have an older Shoei RF1200 in black that has a bunch of dead bugs on it atm.

    It’s comfy.

I need to get a new helmet soon though.

The secret is, don’t. Use headphone earplugs. Well, unless you’re one of those heathens with a phone you can’t plug a pair of headphones into.

I have a Sena 20S Evo and it’s… tolerable… for intercom duty when riding with friends. You can play music through it, too, but having a middleman with yet another battery you have to manage always seemed silly to me. I use Plugfones with it anyhow, so it’s much less of a hassle and you get better audio quality to boot to just plug the 'phones into your audio device directly, stick it in your pocket, and go about your day.

I like the cardo freecom 4x I just bought for my helmet, comes with JBL speakers. They are never as good as earphones but very convinient. Plus you can answer phone calls If you wish.

I use a sena 20s. I’m not sure what the need for a discrete brick is, but if it’s to prevent/deter theft the senas allow you to pop the main unit off with the press of a button, so when I go into stores I just do that and slip it into my pocket while leaving my helmet locked to my bike.
