My girl wanted a more comfortable seat than the Yamaha Vstar we currently have. It’s heavy but all in all a great bike. First one I’ve ever had with a stereo and I’m loving it.

Enjoy your new mobile studio apartment!

Just kidding of course. Looks like a great way to soak up the miles with a partner!

Thank You !!! It IS like a huge couch going down the road lol. I’ve never been intimidated by a bike until now. It’s cumbersome in parking lots/ low speed and can easily get away from me. I’m being extra cautious and hopefully I’ll get more comfortable with it.

My heaviest bike was only 650lbs wet with bags (sat a bit taller, shorter wheelbase), and I can’t imagine how ponderous that will feel in the parking lot (Internet says you’re over 850lbs!).

It’s a 2011 Yamaha Royal Star Venture. Just got it this week. 13,000 miles on it. Like Botzo said it goes close to 900lbs wet then add two people yeah that’s a lot of weight going down the road. No ABS. I’m not a fan of nannies but in this case kind of a shame.

I forgot cc. It’s 1294 V4. The V4 was DEFF a selling point over other bikes for me. It’s torqey and smooth.

I make that to be a Yamaha royal star venture. 2010ish? 1300cc, 870lbs wet (394kg).

Let’s see if I can invoke Cunningham’s Law.
