When does a regime become so reactionary and fascistic that critical support for it isn’t justified? Obviously I’m not saying that this applies to countries like Iran, Russia, and the former Syrian Arab Republic (among others), but when do the negatives outweigh the positives of supporting said country against foreign aggression/western imperialism? You don’t critically support reactionary people, governments or organizations. You critically support their actions when they align with the goal of communism. Critical support for Russia and Putin for killing neo-nazis and destroying weapons stockpiles of the imperialist nations. Critical support for Hitler… when he blew his own brains out.
