I found this ironic.

I don’t need research into the issue, as I’m sure I did at least half of whatever got me banned. I just wanted to point out the irony, is all.

    Why not comment rather than downvote? This community is about in-depth discussion, that’s probably why they prefer comments to downvotes

    I looked it up, the ban reason is “Mindless no-contribution downvoting in a community you do not participate in.”

    Probably deserved by the rules, but if they care that much they should just use an instance that doesn’t accept downvotes.

    It’s a pretty sad looking community anyway, appears to be the mods personal soapbox where they ban anyone who doesn’t upvote them.
