The fact that she was cheating on her partner and lying to you is independent of the fact that she was conservative.
…but I’m also not saying there isn’t a significant overlap in that Venn diagram.

I’m in my 40s and made a number of new friends this year by getting involved with my local fighting game scene. If you’re into videogames at all I’d suggest trying it, and if you’re not into fighting games specifically there are absolutely people at your locals who will be happy, if not excited, to teach you.
Fighting games are unique among competitive games in that while there is no cooperative aspect in the game itself they have developed one of the most collaborative and friendliest gaming communities I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with.
I’m sorry… 18 year old puritan… furries? Can you elaborate?
Have them apply for tax exemption as non-profit charities then. If what you say is true then they should have no trouble qualifying.
Alberta seems to have missed that memo.
The use of language like “unaware” when people are discussing LLMs drives me crazy. LLMs aren’t “aware” of anything. They do not have a capacity for awareness in the first place.
People need to stop taking about them using terms that imply thought or consciousness, because it subtly feeds into the idea that they are capable of such.
It’s more than a feeling.
Right? The fact that this is an extra bit of tracking information I don’t want makes this an easy sell for anyone looking for a reason to do this, but for me it’s because it just makes links uglier.
Raising a question means what you think it does. Bringing up a question which is a natural consequence or follow-up to a previously stated point.
The original meaning of begging the question is quite different and is a form of circular argument where the premise of an argument already assumes its conclusion is correct.
As the other person said, something is wrong if your machine is shutting down instead of just giving choppy playback.
Do you do much heavy CPU with with that machine at all? It’s possible that AV1 decoding is the only thing you’re trying to do that pushes the CPU to that degree. 7th Gen Intel CPUs have hardware decoders for h.265, so the CPU is barely used to play these back, but lacking a decoder for AV1 means it has to be decoded in software, which hits the CPU hard.
What is gained by having no eyes? Can you answer my question about what it means to regress?
What do you mean by “regress”? Is the Mexican tetra un-evolving its eyes not a regression?
It’s just interesting that there’s a distinction between botanical and culinary classification. Once you realise that there are two different systems that don’t necessarily need to completely agree then it’s not a big deal.
…also, what exactly is wrong with taking a bite out of a tomato like an apple? They’re delicious.
Pretty sure they were speaking in reference to the anecdote they were about to relay.
Ktarians could have shorter gestation periods and the horns aren’t developed before both. Or a thicker skull so they aren’t fully erupted. Or maybe Ktarians lay eggs.
There are definitely ways to run partial testing suites on modified code only. I feel like much of what you’re complaining about is an already solved problem.
Because they’re easily identified even at great distances, which at one point was an important function of flags.
What are the nature of the complaints? Just the game compatibility issues mentioned above, or something else?
The “something” in question is elements. Barring the very inadvisable edge case where you’re ingesting some kind of pure metal or degenerate matter there is not anything you can eat that does not contain chemicals.
Complaining about a food containing “chemicals” makes about as much sense as calling out the software you use for being compiled from “code”.
