I mean, in the end an animal is an animal. I have had cats and dogs and don’t really like to see them hurt because (in the West) there is no purpose for their existence besides being pets.
Cows and livestock, on the other hand, only exist for food and we keep breeding them for that.
At the same time, is don’t really see a problem with the cultures that eat cats and dogs, in the end, it’s all just animals and it doesn’t matter if I think that some of them look cuter than others
We drink milk (and kefir) with out meals too tho
I can thank Minecraft for making me learn how to use the computer because I wanted to install mods and for learning English because Minecraft let’s plays were like crack to 10 year old me and basically all of them were in English
From time to time, just some veggies to go along with air fried chicken.
But that’s because I don’t own a stove, all of my cooking is handled by an air fryer, rice cooker, and the microwave
Well, I’m not the first, not third, but don’t really intend to become second
Not even going international on a train can be more expensive.
It cost me almost the same price to take the ICE (not that one yanks) from one part of Germany to another, to visit my mom than it was for me to fly from Germany to Latvia on Ryanair
Kinda out of luck that you are probably in the US.
Something like an Aprilia RS50/Classic 50 would be a nice option.
Light (around 110kg with battery and fluids), has a simple 50cc, 2-stroke engine, but also has clutch and 6 gears (so more frequent maintenance than a 4-stroke, but dead simple to work on), and only 3/4 size of a real bike.
Without the restrictor in the exhaust, mine went 55mph+
Also, if you want to do tuning on it, there is a boatload of aftermarket parts for the engine to make it faster.
We were taught highschool physics from a book published around 20 years before I was born
Neat, another former RL player.
I was able to advance academics twice through convincing convincing people that I was more than my bad grades.
First was me convincing another highschool to accept me and let me skip a year after I almost failed my first year in high school.
Second was applying for my current university, with decent grades, but needing scholarship.
Both times I spoke with people in charge of making those decisions through online interviews and managed to convince them to take chances on me
Idk, I have been writing in cursive for so long that writing anything else feels weird. Cursive just has a neat flow to it
There’s a thing that I sometimes think about. I write in cursive by default and live in Japan.
Me being Latvian, chances are that that I’m the first Latvian person that someone has encountered. The question is: how many people thought that I wrote something in weird Latvian script and not just English in cursive?
I used to start the day with about a 30min walk to work and end it with a 1h20min walk back from uni at the end of the day. Would end up with about 10km a day for about 2 months.
You kinda get used to it, but I still prefer to ride my motorcycle since it now takes like 25min in total.
I’m Latvian, the fact that Russia hasn’t stepped a foot over our border is all the insight I need
Case and point ^
At the same time, that’s one of the easiest ones to throw a funny response back
Damn, people need to lighten up here, OP posts an obvious joke and half of the comments are just “mUh iNdUsTrIaL SaFeTy”
I would argue that mentioning race at all is what makes it more of a racist thing.
Like, why say that woman was black at all then?
But it’s all just semantics, it’s a fake story that has both aspects in it, and it doesn’t really matter if it’s one or the other
I still don’t get the people’s obsession with these people.
Like, I saw the clip and thought that it was amusing, but can anyone please tell me why is it worldwide news?
