  • Like the other poster said there’s no cause known. All I can think of is something happened so close to an experience (something you can actually recall is a different matter) or perhaps something you’ve experienced peripherally such as a dream or media.

Or perhaps just something so close to one of those you feel like it’s happening in front of you.

Or just a glitch in the brain?

Or perhaps it’s the Matrix shrug unsure if that’s better or worse.

    Or…

  • Yeah that’s what confuses me about some of these stories, mean I’m not from the locations but I always thought no plate meant it was being impounded. Like how could an officer let them continue driving without proper registration and insurance? That seems reckless on the officer’s actions, what if there was a collision? Unless I’m missing something which is very possible, I don’t know laws everywhere, gotta take the stories with a grain of salt it seems.

  • Yes and maybe not then. Look at Newton’s law, even it deals with psychology if not physical action and realize that we (under some theories) have free will to make the actions that will cause those. So something will happen to make you (or someone else) do an action and even if you (or they) don’t like it it happened. You can look at it from 1000 angles but either way someone with that personality would make it happen that way.

So gotta just accept, it is what it is, try and make it better and I hope it works out. Mean unless you can see the future and change things, we all are who we are, may. It be worth knowing or hanging out with but somebody probably made something you don’t want to happen, happen. C’est la vie.

  • I always thought it was Raiden too to the point I didn’t realize there was a Rayden spelling. Sounds like a fabric or non stick coating. Mean I didn’t play a ton of Mortal Kombat but knew, what I think was Scorpions finisher (?) in MK1 on Genesis, Start up up? Probably forgetting but that’s the only one I could remember enough to use back in it’s time…in the early 90s it was nothing short of fantastic to see them, even without the blood code for Genesis.

  • Never looked into the half life but first time it took like 6-7 hours to see the ceiling swirl nicely. I wouldn’t assume many days lasting though. The wired framed mech I wanted to see out my 3rd story window at like 4am was beat though, especially when I made it walk back and forth.

But after many times, including after seeing the Teletubbies sun face randomly (actually not even the most awesome hallucination that trip), after 12 hours I was mostly sober.

Other time I recall was about 10 hours after first dropping went to a rave and got home,I saw some fun colours in the shower water, into infinity between the tiles, then yelled a Madeline cartoon cause they left their luggage 3 scenes before they checked in and had it next to them again…then went to bed and was all tired later cause my sleeping schedule was mixed up.

I wouldn’t think it last longer than say 12 hours unless other factors are in play.

Edit forgot to say, most of my acid trips I saw no more than stucco ceiling swirling for a hallucination. So don’t take these experiences as standard…well maybe the watching that Madeline episode that was stupid continuity but expected for a tv show made for kids.

  • It worked in the movie Young Einstein and I trust movies, not really I just wanted to make an amusing but related comment about a lesser well than known movie of my youth. Of course since it’s a comic seems semi relevant, it was a part of the movie trailer heh unless my memory is worse than I hope but I don’t want to delve there.

  • I lived in the ass end of Alberta people are fucking idiots in AB. So glad I moved out of there. Seriously think of the worst place in AB if it wasn’t where I was then it wasn’t that bad of a spot spare a handful of names. If anyone knows Alberta well they can probably guess where that is cause it isn’t south and only so many roads north.

Edit thought I’d mention there are exceptions, did have a few good employers and all but the random opinion wasn’t in acceptance of helping people it seemed and to me we should life all people up to do better as a society. But not every person was a jerk with asshole opinions even in the remote places. To be fair never asked my employers they were just nice to me … Huh.

  • Also why? (You probably said this but wanted to add my words) Unless you want your country to be batted around you need to stand strong. Is it for the best? Maybe not. Can we win? Probably not. But fighting authoritarian despots is needed to be a proper democracy. We can’t bow down to fascism.

I’d rather pay more (or way more) and give the middle finger to the US government, fucking despot ruler. We need strong allies now and not our neighbors.

I do understand how some could not afford this luxury and I hope our government would help them through these times, because I think that’s part of why I pay taxes to help the people who have less. I only wish it was more inclusive to help us grow as a country and tell others we helps others.

  • I always liked the line in Dogma about them, don’t turn ideas into beliefs, you can change ideas easier than beliefs. Paraphrased and I understand how much it waters down the whole problem but I still thought the idea of it was nice. Listen and be open, you shouldn’t always need to be rigid. Though mean there are still ideals I’m rigid about, respect, compassion and such. Though I always thought the idea was you thought about what worked best for everyone not just what people said you should do cause tradition.
