Yeah, incredibly minor. My phone has all the features that have subsequently been removed from newer models and is still only 6mm thick. I have a case on it and it’s still fine. But regardless. If people want thinner phones without that stuff, fine, make them. What we are bitching about is that there are NO options with the functions we want and practically everything has the same minuscule feature set these days. We want a variety of choices.

Also, for any of said idiots who may be reading this. If you see someone bitching about functionality being removed that you yourself don’t need, the correct response is to just not respond. You don’t have to gargle corporations balls. Removing things isn’t making your phones cheaper/better. There’s no reason to defend it.

Yeah just takes a little extra planning. I start an hour earlier than the rest of my team but they know that so they make sure to cover anything they need from me before I leave for the day (usually, sometimes we’ll have a vendor call or something I have to stay late for but it’s fine). On the other hand I’m there to catch most issues before most of the other employees arrive and start calling us.

I haven’t got along well with any of the women with PHDs I’ve known but it wasn’t a very large sample size for me to write them off as a whole. If I ran into too many more that had the same personality type as the ones I met I might consider it though because they were frustrating to be around. It wasn’t that they were smarter than me, it was that they wouldn’t even listen to me on subjects I was more knowledgeable about.

For me, while getting laid regularly doesn’'t actually solve any of the other problems in my life, it is like an “easy button” for being happy. Things have to be pretty bad for me to get upset when I’ve had sex in the last few days or expecting it soon. Unfortunately I’ve never been able to maintain a relationship where that is the case so it ends up having the opposite effect until I eventually end things and go back to being just mid all the time.

Which is something I‘ve learned not to complain about given the current state of the world. Maybe someday I‘ll reconsider…

This is where I’m at. I have enough stress in my life without adding all the extra crap that comes with trying to date to it. Sure when things are going good it’s amazing but that never seems to last and then you end up in limbo trying to evaluate whether it’s worth stringing it along or ending it.

I was specifically talking about boot errors. I acknowledged that people complain about other problems with window. Just saying that problems booting, especially with partition issues, is not typical and I had not seen one in a long time. That particular thing windows does fairly well.

People complain about all the invasive controlling bullshit Windows does. I haven’t seen any kind of failure to boot issue with windows in a long time and I work in IT. Last thing I really remember being common in our organization was bitlocker getting triggered and people having to call in to get the key to unlock it, and that was back in the windows 7 days.
