Neither of those things are made in the USA either.

Disappointingly common in the politics of the time.

While Trump is involved, part of the point of continued “negotiating” is to try and prevent him from doing anything massively damaging while “negotiations are still in progress”.

I didn’t believe he could succeed at it, but I also can’t discount that he might make an attempt at it.
Just because he is incompetent doesn’t mean he isn’t also a bull in a China shop.
Even in his incompetence he can cause a lot of damage.

Yes the conservatives failed miserably. The only reason they did as well as they did was the animosity that had been built around Trudeau.
Their success (such as it was) isn’t a ringing endorsement of PP or his party, but rather a retreating from who they were running against.

It’s a role that they gleefully took on so they could go around telling others what to do.
I am familiar with Canada West. They’re made in my city.
But what I was referring more to was mass market footwear, and the majority of those (regardless of where the HQ is) are made overseas, as is most clothing in general.
As for those electronics manufacturers, with very few exceptions, the components they assemble into their finished product are sourced outside of North America.
