So can’t combine Combat Patrol and the codex versions.

Yeah, I understand that Combat Patrol datasheets are only for that ruleset. But what about the model itself? Like the old Combat Patrol I’m talking about has 10 miniatures of Intercessor squad. I understand that for full WH40k game I need to use the datasheet from the Space Marine Codex. But I’m trying to figure out for which datasheet I can use the Character model from the Combat Partol box. Or it will just be a shelf piece when I move on from Combat Partol games to 1000pts games?

And on the code, cool, I wasn’t sure will it be in the codex or in the datasheet cards. I guess than I don’t need to buy at least cards :)
