Ich habe versucht auf BBC den Reden von Hegseth und Trump zu folgen, ich habe beide ca. 30 Sek. ausgehalten. Schon die Rhetorik des Kriegministers ist unerträglich; dem schwachsinnigen Gebblubber von Trump kann man mit gesundem Menschenverstand nicht mal mehr folgen.

Ich kann mir schon vorsstellen dass dem ein oder anderen Karrieremilitarist da ordentlich mulmig wurde, denn das ganze riecht schon sehr ranzig. Wir haben nur die öffentlichen Bilder gesehn, welche Schwüre da abseits der Kameras abverlangt wurden werden wir wohl in den kommenden Monaten sehen.

eOS hat auch versagt, letztes Mal hatte es gut funktioniert. Testwarnung ist deaktiviert, sollte aber trotzdem durchgehen?

I can really recommend the Fairphone 3/4/5 with eOS, using them for more then 7 years now. The hardware is slightly more expensive due to their mission (fair traded minerals, sustainability, reparability). They are very good as second hand devices because of the cheap spare parts. eOS does everything you need, including banking apps.

Same energy as “Don’t be so sensitive”. One ruined my childhood, the other one social gatherings as an adult.

Making policies via Twitter posts must be one of those things I will never get used to as a democracy-enthusiast. But what do I know. This person can get some of the most qualified people for the job fired because…checks note…she “has the ear of the preesident”. No clue what that means, but after reading her resumee I doubt it has anything to do with her responsibility as an elected representative.

It looks like we are not doing one or two steps backwards, it’s like a sprint back to the 1960s. And it’s worldwide, not just the US. Almost as if the people in power just gave up and decided to squeeze as much out of this planet as possible.
