Depends on what your threat model is. Sure a fully locked down mobile OS is more secure, but I also care about freedom and privacy. It’s not all black and white.

I have had this idea in my mind of building a privacy-first, open source dating app built on “privacy by design” principles. Still didn’t get to it tho.

Tried it, doesn’t work. Too many bugs. I can’t input a location and it fails to auto-detect so I am just living in cyberspace apparently.

Bei manchen Menschen ist die Selbstwirksamkeit und Strukturiertheit gleich null. Brief vergessen und liegen gelassen, am Tag vor dem Termin die Nacht durchgemacht, drogensüchtig, Hund krank, Weg zum Amt nicht gefunden… Gibt tausend Gründe warum ein Mensch einen Termin nicht wahrnimmt. Und “Verplantheit” ist vermutlich kein akzeptierter Grund für eine Ausnahmeregelung. Schwups Geld weg, und der nächste angebotene Termin fällt dann auch aus weil man in der Nacht davor anschaffen war und den Wecker verpennt hat. So leicht landen Menschen dann auf der Straße.

Klingt genau so sinnvoll wie die Regel dass es nach dem 1. verpassten Termin schon Kürzungen gibt. Einfach mal darüber nachdenken WARUM Menschen in einer solchen Situation sind…
