And if anyone wants it, I learned that the secret is to embrace the boredom. Allow the boredom to become extreme. Wallow in it and feel it. Better than drowning oneself in a constant stream of stimulation and intoxication, eternally striving to Never Be Bored.
extremeboredom@lemmy.worldto News@lemmy.world•High Noon Recalls Vodka Seltzers Mislabeled as Energy DrinksEnglish8·5 days agoI would be furious. I’m very proud of my sobriety and worked hard to get it. I have nightmares from time to time where I’m tricked or accidentally drink alcohol. I don’t event want a sip. This would mess with me badly.

Exactly what you would imagine for a billionaire. Completely clueless about the real world, and yet so full of her own kool aid that she’s convinced she has all the answers.
Make billions off of mainly California, proceed to crap all over said state. California won’t miss you.

Bought one used, so Google never got my money. Immediately put grapheneOS on it, this phone in its pre-gOS spyware form never had access to my actual data in the first place. Or even a real network.

extremeboredom@lemmy.worldto People Twitter@sh.itjust.works•Seems to be a patternEnglish5·1 month agoCrimes were not committed against the parents. There is no gag order on publicly posted info. If they receive threats as a result, THEN a crime will have occurred: it is illegal to make threats.
extremeboredom@lemmy.worldto People Twitter@sh.itjust.works•Seems to be a patternEnglish31·1 month agoPlease show me the law that was broken by referencing publicly available posts voluntarily shared by the people in question. Just because you don’t like it, doesn’t mean it’s a “criminal act.”
extremeboredom@lemmy.worldto People Twitter@sh.itjust.works•Seems to be a patternEnglish3·1 month agoActually they did when they posted their names and photos publicly to the internet. “Public” doesn’t mean only the people that you like.
Edit: Additionally, I find your “people like you” statement hilarious. You know nothing about me, you’re upset that these parents were publicly identified, and you assume my motivations (completely incorrectly.) When something is PUBLICLY posted, that means there are NO restrictions on who sees it. Consent is not qualified by “oh I posted it publicly but not for this group of people I don’t like.” Public means everyone. Had they posted it PRIVATELY, you’d have an argument. But they did not, so you don’t have a valid argument, you’re just upset. There’s a difference between the two.
