Only because there’s not been any significant interest to change that. There are alternative already, American Express (which only issues cards for its own bank currently, but do have market share outside the USA), and Discover in the States. They both operate both sides of the system (issuing cards/credits and managing the underlying transaction network) whereas Visa and Mastercard only operate the network.

Visa and MasterCard are by far the largest, but there’s no reason that alternatives can’t succeed (even though it is unlikely).

  • Been using various dry herb vapes for close to 10 years now. Initially had settled on the Crafty and Arizer ExtremeQ, then I added a Dynavap M (2019). Unfortunately, about 2 years ago I lost all of these (well, they were stolen but that’s a different story). I decided to stop combusting entirely and only use dry herb vapes shortly after that happened. I’ve now got several Dynavaps which are my main devices (from least to most used out of my favourites: WoodWynd, M7 XL, Vong, BB6). I also occasionally use the Arizer Solo 3 but I honestly prefer cycling through my Dynavaps. Oh and I’ve got the AirVape Legacy Pro but I rarely use it now that I have the Solo 3.

  • You’re 100% correct. I always find it funny how hardcore some people are with jellyfin vs Plex. I’ll probably end up getting downvotes on this but imo Plex is way simpler to setup and keep running, and as a lifetime pass owner, I’ve very rarely felt like my experience has been deteriorated by any of the changes that the jellyfin crowd freaks out about. Plus plexamp is honestly such a great music player. I’ll happily keep running Plex for the foreseeable future.
