A lot of people think it’s unfair that a teenager should be making $15 $20 an hour when they only made $5 $8 when they were a teen. And they are currently only making around $20 an hour themselves. I have literally seen this exact statement on discussions of increasing the minimum wage:

“No teenager should be making close to the same amount that I am. They don’t need that kind of money.”
