But so many ways to make it easier.

Subscription based, with the ability to input “actual readings” whenever you want, with a cross check at WoF time.
Could also make it GPS enabled, but that would have major privacy and accuracy concerns.
The current system with ordering them online is good, but could be much better. Also remove the need to display your km ticket for light vehicles.

It has been needed since the prius became popular…
You can get some extreme efficiencies for vehicles now. It is quite unfair on those who cannot afford the latest in tech to be paying the highest road maintenance tax.
The latest corolla gets 3.8l/100. If you are driving an equivalent one from the early 2000’s you are not going to be doing much better than 10l/100. So a person that can’t afford a new car is paying ~2.5x the maintenance tax.
No, plenty of main dishes are spicy/sweet.
There also desserts and sweets that are spicy/sweet. There are some snacks that are essentially sweetened spicy fish…
A lot of Asian foods are spicy/sweet; it is great.
I don’t know.
Dr Rod Badcock has a fairly good claim. It is such a pornstar name.

Completely restricting, potentially the biggest and most accessible corpus of knowledge ever created, is not my goal.
I’m trying to balance the good with the bad here.
Example:
Lichess training embedded videos are hosted on youtube; but can just be watched on youtube directly.

I’ll look into freetube, my 9yo has some cool interests but YT wants to drive engagement through whatever means necessary.
absGeekNZ@lemmy.nzto Global News@lemmy.zip•Australia to ban under-16s from YouTubeEnglish6·8 days agoAs a parent of young kids…youtube is a complicated mess.
It is full of really great content; but YT kids sucks…so if you want access to the good stuff it is standard YT.
But the utter shit that shows up in the side bar and suggested videos is insane.
For older teens/adults; you don’t have to worry about the shit tier garbage that is suggested.
I block the ads, but that is a whole other level of cringe/inappropriate content that just gets shoved into videos; completely unrelated to what is on.
You can probably safely say plate tectonics is a lie in Texas, and not have to worry about inconvenient earthquakes to explain to the class. Try that in NZ…far more active over here.
Great title.
