No need for anybody to do that. More than likely, the restaurant will explode all on its own, just like Tesla cars. Just give it a few more weeks. LOL. ;)

No fries? Gasp! Truly, it’s a burgerpocalypse. ;) Worse, all the food was cold.
Probably not fun and certainly difficult, but she knew precisely what she was getting into and who Musk was when she took the job. My sympathy and empathy levels for her are below zero.
No doubt.
I agree. But is it possible that Musk would want that kind of association to pilfer as many gullible MAGA as possible? I think it is – but I dunno. I don’t think many people left of center would support Musk’s party, so in my mind, Musk is clearly aiming for the center to extreme right for support, and to influence republican politicians already in office. Basing that on his threats to primary every republican who voted for the bill.
He also got Texas to rename Boca Chica to Starbase for his SpaceX headquarters. I can only guess that Hawthorne city council (Hawthorne used to a be a “sundown town” - whites only, so you can imagine the appeal to Musk being there) weren’t very keen on Musk renaming the city to SpaceXland, or Musk City. Anyway, he’s a perpetual and petulant man-child. I sincerely hope he’s on the first disastrous Starship journey to Mars.
I didn’t make either of the graphs, nor am I involved in any capacity with the linked article or surveys, so no apologies necessary. I’m only guilty of sharing them, and I get why it was confusing. Also, I didn’t think you were being mean, so don’t give it another thought. :) It’s all good.
Yeah, MAGA have been campaigning on that. It’s the same old jingoistic bullshit from 100 years ago. The day anybody in MAGA cracks open a history book will be… erm… historic, I suppose. Ditto for Muskito fanboys. We’re scraping the bottom of the barrel at this point.
The word libertarian is likely too big and unwieldy for the bigots who are likely to join Musk’s latest foray into politics. They’d spell it wrong all the time, probably call it the “Liberty Party.” Besides, most people have very negative views of the libertarian party, especially since more than half of them became pro-Trump in 2015, defended the tiki torch Nazis and KKK in 2017, and stayed pro-Trump even after his first term. Fuck libertarians. Shit, fringe party. Also, Musk is seeking to pilfer as many MAGA as he can get, and calling it the “America Party” is precisely the sort of thing that would appeal to the white Christian nationalists, theocrats, xenophobes and the dumbest, most gullible people in America. Musk has learned from Trump that it’s better to be the leader of a party in order to get richer.
Not being condescending at all, but what is the issue you’re having with it?
I wonder if the original graph would be better or worse. It looked like this:
EDIT: Just saw your other comment – I missed seeing it come in while looking up the original graph
OK, I don’t know what the breakdown is and I’m unsure if I want to know. But if you go to this page (https://www.natesilver.net/p/elon-musk-polls-popularity-nate-silver-bulletin) and then scroll down to the section titled “The polls: What do the surveys say?” you’ll get a chart with links to all of the polls. I suspect you’ll get some decent demographic data within some of those surveys. I wouldn’t hold it against you at all if you decide it’s not worth the effort. Musk is a Nazi after all, and therefore I could [unfairly?] assume that anyone who supports a Nazi is also a Nazi.
That is indeed the correct answer, and you have won the internet today. Congrats. The other acceptable answer was “It’s a cult.” A very nasty Nazi cult.
Have this!
True. Cybertrucks wouldn’t even make it to the trial without breaking down first, falling apart, or spontaneously combusting.
for additional context, if needed
There’s a Grok logo in the lower right corner, so I would think you’re correct about that. I didn’t make the image. I just thought it was funny.
Thanks for the input. I know it’s a bit awkward as is considering that heil means hail, but hail has several meanings (praise, call out, etc.), so I went with this. I had considered removing the “your ride” bit, too. I’m probably never going to be a marketing genius. Hoping others run with the idea of it, and of course improve on this.
Thanks. I haven’t seen it so wasn’t aware of the reference. Great, now I feel out of touch. LOL.
My fault for being obtuse, I know, but I’ve got no idea what you mean.
Hmm. Fast food in general is one of those things that irks me – not judging here either, just ranting. If it is common as you say, perhaps more people should reconsider their fast food habits and seek out alternatives. It’s been a very long time since I went to any fast food joint, so I honesty don’t know what it is like at them these days.
I have seen, however, a handful of social media posts about prices being expensive. And honestly, selfishly, I didn’t care. If people want to pay extortionate prices for shitty, highly-processed, factory-farmed food made and sold to make greedy CEOs and stakeholders even more absurdly wealthy, that’s their choice. But I do know that one real problem is that the actual good, healthy food in America is also stupidly expensive. I suppose the choice then boils down to convenience. Or perhaps one’s ability or willingness to prepare and cook their own food.
Years ago, I once worked with a lady who refused to cook anything. She only ate fast food, three or four times a day. She was morbidly obese and had endless health issues. One day she brought in two ready-made hard-boiled eggs that she paid like three dollars for at a gas station, she had said. I mentioned that it would be far cheaper and easy for her to buy her own eggs and hard boil them herself, and she’d save money. But no! That’s when she told me she never cooks. I asked, how difficult it is to put a pot of water and eggs on the boil for 12 mins or so? Too much effort for her. Crazy. But she’s not alone in her choice to never cook.
