1·14 days agoKind of, in some states it’s regulated like that, but in others it’s not addressed at all. I had a joke in my reply, where it’s true in my state that you need a motorcycle license for anything larger that 50 cc, but cc aka cubic centimeters of air displacement is a measure of Internal Combustion Engine size and has no correlation with electric vehicles. My state needs to update the regs and deal with e bikes going 25-30 mph down bike paths.
It ain’t a motorcycle if the engine isn’t bigger than 50 cc, taps head.

21·21 days agoI understand that baby boxes are no longer allowed in the U.S. but I see a reference to a different product causing issues.
In my mind, they were just looking for an excuse not to support a new family, the U.S. is backwards that way

Also actively took funding from existing systems that would warn of weather problems.

381·29 days agoThe big beautiful bill added an item to allow new cars bought in 2025/26/27/28 to have the interest deducted from your gross income.
This won’t save people much, but it’s just going to reinforce the trend. I expect car prices to go up because of this.
4·30 days agoJust go for it, try to water them during any dry/hot spells. If you can’t commit, then wait until early fall.
The downside is that only canes which leaf this year will bear fruit next year.

221·1 month agoIt would have been nice if the article mentioned the congestion pricing and therefore traffic drop that went into affect this year.
I guess it’s up to the reader to compare.
It’s funny that they use it in a derogative way, but it’s not like they’ve ever been bothered with hypocrisy.
