Many places in Europe are wonderful. Generally speaking I think you’re quite fine when it comes to LGBT rights, especially in the Western countries, and metros and public transportation in general are commonplace, but I wouldn’t expect free internet and freedom of expression to be around in a handful years.

Unless you live under a rock you do see some increased support for Palestine even amongst Western governments. A part of that is that it’s very clear that a majority of the common people are in support of Palestine and ending genocide. And no, this is not because Macron or any other politician actually cares, but the more noise you make the more they have to react to it and adapt. If nothing else it shows the world that not every Western citizen is a fan of Apartheid and genocide. The Israeli government doesn’t care about a protest in Australia but if the Australian government starts reacting to it it can work to isolate Israel globally - and unlike Russia, who has other friends, Israel really doesn’t.
It’s not “Danish activists” but rather the government. As a Dane I know how horny these people are to create a fullblown police/nanny state. SVM (the name for the government) is terrible for all of us. Can’t wait to see their voter share drastically diminish at the next election, but clearly they can do a lot of harm first…

I’ve never cared much for listening to live music, even if I play myself. Well, at least not for those big ass concerts you pay €200 for. I once heard a guy playing in a church near me and it was intimate and amazing; that’s how music should be… anyway, sidetracked, my point is that I love streaming so much and I listen to music when I cook, when I focus at work, when I need to get pumped, when I need to relate. The idea of streaming is amazing - although having everything in one place all at once does remove some of the magic. I don’t really have a point other than that I hope for more ethical streaming services…
But I thought the rest of the world would pay it? Because, of course, we’ve been treating USA unfairly for so many decades now so it’s only fair we’d give more money to the biggest economy on the planet :(

Now do you want to talk about all the shit Russia got up to between 1920 - 1991? Or the countless genocides of the Russian Empire as well as the continuous oppression of ethnic minorities in the Caucasus and Siberia, including using them as human meat shields in Ukraine?
