It’s the difference between equality and equity.

That’s also because the Netherlands are wildly in the wrong timezone. Especially during daylight savings.
I tried to do that some time ago, but got bored of weighing everything. Is taking a picture generally enough to estimate weights and stuff? I remember it made a lot of difference if a salad has an oil dressing for example, or how much peanut butter you put on a sandwich.
Sounds like a tamagotchi, but for keeping yourself alive :)
How does it track calories consumed? Or isthat something you do seperately?
My watch face is always analog, but that’s mostly because it’s an analog watch.
What’s the added value of a smart watch here?
They’re the opposite of mutually exclusive. I don’t think there are many people with a vaping “hobby”, that don’t also have an addiction

If there are sharp corners that might not work, but even lower speed rail doesn’t really like sharp corners. They can be mitigated up to a certain point with banked curves.

Sure, but gathering wood takes a lot of effort and energy. It’s an option if you don’t have the filters, but the original question was why not distill if boiling and filtering ends up in “not great”.
If I have to survive, and I can do with boiling and filtering, I’ll take “not great” water over spending hours gathering and chopping wood to keep a fire going long enough to vaporize a liter of water.
And a massive amount of fuel.
Have you ever tried to evaporate a liter of water? It takes a lot of energy to do so. Fun for a science project, but if you need enough to stay alive/be comfortable, it’s a lot easier to bring water.

My company started with mandatory cybersecurity trainings for all employees. The training tool sends out automated emails to remind you when you have to do a new part of the training.
These emails, from a cybersecurity course, followed all the rules of being a phishing email:
- Sent from a non-company server
- Had a big red button to click here
- Urged you to take action (“You have 5 days to complete your training”)
IT decided to fix that, by adding a line to the emails that this email is really from our company. Like a phisher wouldn’t think of saying “nah, trust me bro, I’m totally legit”
I’m all for free healthcare and public transit, but that doesn’t remotely cover the cost of being run over by an uninsured driver.
