Seconded. There’s almost zero solidarity most of the time in the trans community when it comes to trans-men, who often get treated as though they should just vie for themselves. It’s almost like some sort of reflexive trauma of not wanting to associate with anything remotely masculine post-op.

I’ve seen trans-men literally get berated and put down for being enthusiastic about anything remotely masculine, be it sports or clothing, 24/7 by other trans people. They fucking hate them.

I feel like people are downplaying how dangerous even the possibility of #2 is. A lot of nations are already targeting the LGBTQ community on a regular basis and this would massively assist to streamline persecution of “certain” citizens as well as the rapid spread of religious dogma. Both the U.S. and Australia are current testing grounds for these outcomes.

Just popping in to say this is also the key difference between Lawrence Kohlberg’s 5th and 6th Stages of Moral Development.

What most people don’t know about it is that not everyone will actually reach the 6th Stage. It’s more of an opt-in. The vast majority of society functions at around the 5th (probably much lower these days).

So if you fall outside this category, you’re likely far more emotionally developed and matured than the average person.

I really want to be happy about the turnout for No Kings. I wanted to be, but I actually followed the coverage of several sites of protests. Most of them were over in less than 2 hours from what I saw. It was like a weekend lunch break for most people, and they even brough their infant children with them because they couldn’t be arsed with a babysitter.

If anyone believes it won’t be back to business as usual in the Fourth Reich on monday they are delusional. You need to care a hell of a lot more than that to stop a fascist regime, and the horrible sad truth is that most Americans just don’t. They’ve been bred to be far too individualist to give more than the just bare minimum. The moment it becomes an inconvenience for them they’re over it.

This was a PR stunt at best. A corporate email stating “We’re working hard to dismantle the regime. We have our best people on it. Pizza party next Friday.”
