Crocs. I had avoided them for years until I went on a kayaking tour on Vancouver Island. Well, while they were ugly AF, they are one of most comfortable shoes I’ve tried that are just… Easy to slip on and off?
*Jurassic Park
Zombieland is mine!!
Honestly, I’ve just been using GeforceNow. But problem is I can’t play any game not supported by it. Like I want to try Ashes of Creation alpha but I can’t. Nor my Spiderman Miles Morales
Project Hail Mary is one of my favorite audio books of all time! Second your rec!!
FYI, there is an instance that asks this every week!
But to answer your question,
My last read was Pachinko by Min Jin Lee. Its a historical fiction about a few generations of a Korean family. It was solid.
I’m currently on vacation and have been reading Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone … Picked it up since it was available and supposed to be an easy read… Which it is. Its just a whodunit. Idk how I feel about it yet.
Live in the bay area in California where many tech companies are… I am disheartened to see ANY new Teslas but I do and its not always white individuals. We need even more people saying this is not okay.
The A series lines have been the best value smartphones generation after generation. I would not say theyre expensive. I have bought each current gen for about $350 or less (excluding tax), no trade in.
Bought a couch cover on Amazon which I draped over the couch. Both cover and couch are gray but not matching gray
I have always wanted to but I have too much to say and have too little time. I was never consistent (I wanted to do daily). Too much of a chore for me unfortunately though I love the idea of being able to look back and reflect.
My friends and I just went camping. Instead of bringing eggs in egg cartons, put them in a Blender Bottle. Shake them up for easy scramble eggs and pour!
Twice a month or every 2 weeks or so for my little pup. I hold him belly up, cradling him on my lap and chest, feet up in air while my husband trims. It has been working and hes very good with that.
United States. I wear some athleisure… So Prana and Patagonia. There’s also Free People, American Giant,
I think e-bikes are great especially if it gets you out riding. That’s what really matters. What will get you to ride and look forward to it? You still get exercise from ebikes as well as you can just turn down or even off the assist while riding.
Covenant of Water by Abraham Verghese. I finally put it down after trying to read it… But I may get the audiobook sometime to see if that helps
Its a thick book and beautifully written but I felt like it was slog.
Agreed! This is how i watch too. Last two times I’ve gone to theatres was for both Dune movies. Otherwise, its just home.
Very true for both audio and sound. There are just films made by specifically for large formats and higher quality set ups.
Its great that you have headphones OP as it’s a step. If you still enjoy what you’re seeing, that’s all that really matters IMO. Not everyone is privileged to have a nice home system set up which is I think why theatres are still a thing.
More information on sounds and subtitles that I watched a few weeks ago. I also watched a video on TV modes and the differences of visual on theatre vs TV vs mobile but can’t recall the video.
Audiobook: Pachinko by Min Jin Lee.
Regular reading: Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin. I think its just okay so far but I’m not really that big on fantasy. Its for a book club. I know others love it.
Kobo Libra Color for me!! The text is much nice on the eyes because of e-ink. I only listen to audio books through my phone.
