The problem being everybody can build an EV. Even household appliance manufacturers entering the race. All these nice combustion engine patents and your USP are getting you nowhere and the competition is bigger than before. I’m sure sleeping on the problem another decade or two will help.

What’s with all the AI hate? I use it for work and it significantly decreases my workload. I’m getting stuff done in minutes instead of hours. AI slop aside.

It was a joke. I lived and worked in Russia for some years. I understand that the country has more fundamental problems to resolve.

No offense, but so were COP 1-29. It’s important to talk and keep the format going. But everyone that has managed a project knows how difficult it is to get seven people to agree on something. Let alone 57.000 people.

And there is this strange notion that we just need politicians to agree and pass some laws, and climate change is gone. It’s a vastly more difficult problem to solve and it will take EVERYONE to tackle it.
