The worst part is that Murkowski voted for the bill because Thune offered to give Alaska $50 million for rural hospitals to offset the loss in Medicaid funds. In other words, she knows full well how devastating this would be for the country, but she voted for it anyway because her own state would be exempt from some of the worst parts.
