I started with kbin, but as that project declined the lemmy apps were starting to mature, after I found voyager I was all in on lemmy. I still haven’t found a great mobile app for mbin.

A show on PBS, they look at old stuff like paintings, pottery and collectables people found or inherited, and have appraisers explain the backstory of the item and estimate how much it could be worth at auction. It’s great.

That first edition charizard though, so universally contentious. A core childhood memory was battling a neighborhood kid, he wagered his charizard and I put up machamp + gyarados holos. Winner gets the pot. We do the battle, I won, then immediately this kid snatches the charizard off the table and took off running all the way down the street back home with it.

Texas lacks culture and amenities compared to the largest cities in the US!? Wow that’s shocking to learn. Truly.

Edit- Houston isn’t that far away, and has at least a few more restaurants. Maybe they can try again there.

The hint of gameplay in trailer looks like a near copy of monster hunter games to me.

Edit - funny though, Monster Hunter x Horizon actually seems like a great combo, but not like this.

They’re deleting threads and banning people talking about it. This is the plan going forward for everything, continually removing real people and let the bot accounts keep going because they stay on message. If only 1% of redditors post content, the other 99% will continue reading, lurking and believing the discussion has moved on.

It was a flawless sprint from Max, no doubt

IMO any cat that has shelter, food, and a loving home is living a good life. Your time away for work won’t bother them, a cat will spend 8+ hours sleeping even while you’re around no problem. The longest I’d go on a multiday trip is 2 days without someone checking in and cleaning up liter boxes, with auto feeder I think you’re good there too.

All that said - I’d still reconsider getting a pair. I wish we got ours together at the same time, we waited 2 years and it was a marked difference in my first cat’s personality having a buddy (erm, sparring partner) and I do feel it’s better for them in general. They’ll do fine solo though. Don’t let it deter you from a fuzzy friend.
