From Codepink:

  • At the ‘No Kings’ rally in Washington DC, one protestor tried to tell us our Palestine flags didn’t belong there. While the US funds genocide and occupation, we will not stop showing up for Palestine.

which may alienate and confuse some of the folks watching at home because the media gets to conflate those things even if they don’t have to go together.

half of the folks at home:

How do I reach the other half with no lack of confusion to believe in “Death to America”.

Fortunately, there are incredible people that are also politically active out there like this person. She wore a “Hands off Venezuela” shirt in the No kings rally.

At this dire moment, Latin America needs all of the solidarity that could get.

Agreed! I don’t deny or discredit anyone who does go out and protest. At the same time, the protest itself really is nothing more than another symbolic march that was a relief valve for libshits.

As everyone else said though, it’s a great way to recruit/organize with others. I was unable to attend as I had work that day, but I went to the last one. Before I went to work though I helped two of my comrades make signs and lent them two of my skating helmets! (don’t skate as much anymore lol)
