The grammatical structure of modern Hebrew is Verb-Subject-Object (VSO) but in modern Hebrew (as well as Russian) it is Subject-Verb-Object (SVO). There are also many words in modern Hebrew directly taken from Russian which have no other word.
My original point was hyperbole. Obviously Hebrew isn’t actually a Slavic language any more than Tolkien’s elvish is but it is isn’t Semitic either. They are both just made up.
My point was that modern Hebrew has more in common with Slavic languages than with Semitic ones.
