The gun was an old Mauser 30.06 bolt action, about the last thing a gun ban would restrict.
You sure it’s a Mauser and not a Springfield?
Was I wrong? I read Mauser somewhere in the intial reports. In any case, 30.06 is a fucking cannon of a shell, whatever rifle it comes out of. :)
Yeah, it’s for hunting moose and Nazis (most are WW2 era)
