More agencies can move forward with canceling collective bargaining agreements that cover broad swaths of the federal workforce, after an appeals court issued a stay on a judge’s order that had been blocking President Donald Trump’s executive order from proceeding.

The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals on Friday lifted a preliminary injunction that had been temporarily preventing 21 agencies from implementing Trump’s order to broadly eliminate collective bargaining due to “national security” concerns. The ruling comes after an appeals court in May similarly ruled in a separate lawsuit that some agencies can move forward with Trump’s executive order.

The point of collective bargaining was to provide an avenue for both the State and the workers to resolve their issues without a strike occurring.

I hope they know what they’re doing with this “Let them eat cake” strategy.

Upending millions of people’s lives with police raids, mass firings and stripping away their ability to support their families has not, historically, worked out for the ruling class.

I’m thinking the same thing. I wonder if trump being close to dying age makes him not care. Or he could be that stupid about this.

They will throw striking in as part of collective bargaining, and use it as a wedge to fire everyone, then high 10% of the staff under fealty tests
