If you’re gonna post someone’s content (i.e. third party, not yours), could at least credit the original person. Especially because we’re talking about a real human being, rather than some random shitpost someone online made.

I do reckon there are cases when such shouldn’t be done, but those that come to mind are the ones in which a post shouldn’t be made in the first place, e.g. imagery to which the subject hasn’t consented being taken.

Whether to repost third party images without consent to do so is another topic one could ponder on. But at least it’s not those nasty, evil revenge things or those actual real, unconsenting hidden cam things. Those are just evil and should be a crime.

I for one prefer first-party posts. Knowing the person themselves are doing what they wanna do, and are in control to an extent, is just better.

Consent is key, guac is extra

Goddamnit. Damn thing wasn’t posting last night, posted three times afterwards. Gotta delete the spam now lol

Yeah, I don’t know the source. But OP got that inage somewhere. Could at least link back there? Idk. If everyone linked to where they got the image from, we’d have a chain leading back to the source, which would be cool. Or sharing the original source instead of where they got it, such that every repost links back to its creator

Edit: for context, my other deleted comments were almost duplicates of mine on top of this chian that failed to send last night but got sent later, each one of my attempts
