They made an anime? Hell yeah! I love the manga, so excited to watch!
I think this episode shows that the production team is lacking in budget, but also shows that they care about the source material and are trying to do their best within their limits - and decent direction and voice acting can go a long way towards it.
That Atou face was just perfect.
Yea… that was my fear. Some smartphone isekai levels of “if the fight is faster than you can see with your eye we don’t have to animate it taps forehead”. I was going to recommend this to people that liked Overlord but… might be best to just stick to the manga or novels, this is no Madhouse. I’ll still enjoy it as I was already a fan but :\
Leave screwing with their opponent to Atou - if that world has/had ghosts (dunno), created from living regrets, she’d be an expert at farming them. Thankfully she’s a pacifist~
Of you don’t love me at
You don’t deserve me at
I wonder why in the scene where Atou asked Takuto whether she was too harsh he switched to his ominous form for a second. Could this be the same as Ainz from Overlord? Being evil being makes you lose compassion?
I suppose anime did eventually have to produce a pacifist more dangerous than Prince Phil of Seyruun . . .
