American relationships with the rest of the world tend to involve quid pro quos for overlooking (or actively supporting) human rights disasters, Israel being the most obvious example. If America bungles its foreign policy, which it is, that will leave Israel more isolated because most countries out there simply have no reason to support Israel if America isn’t there with the carrot and stick. Basically America uses its alliances all over the world to perpetuate and protect its global empire and I want to see that shit gone yesterday.
A variety of global and regional actors? No other country has the ability and desire to create an American-style global web of vassal states. China is content harassing its neighbors, Russia is too weak and Europe would need to do something about its incompetent leadership first.
It might not end imperialism, but it’ll end one big driver of it, because no country has as many imperial ambitions and as much ability to turn them into reality as America. No, not even China. And also, less imperialists is better than more imperialists.
There are never “less imperialists”. It’s a function of the power difference between the haves and have not.
Go read any history book on what happens when an empire collapses. Here’s a spoiler: it’s not good for the vast majority of people.
More than ever, the world is a zero sum game. We know the resources, we know their limits and we know the trajectory of our pale blue dot. If you thought the Pax Americana was bad, wait till you see existential power struggles between peer states.
Wdym that’s a good thing.
In what way?

What do you imagine will replace American influence if what you are asking for comes to pass?
China and their own human rights violations.

Once the Great SatanTM is gone the entire world will turn into a utopia.
Maybe not a utopia, but it’ll fucking certainly become a better place to live. Do I really need to explain why imperialism is bad?
No you need to explain why one hegemony ending will magically end imperialism
