Yet Democrats strongly opposed his confirmation, pointing to his past ties to far-right figures and conspiracy theories. During his 2022 congressional campaign, Kent paid Graham Jorgensen, a member of the far-right military group the Proud Boys, for consulting work. He also worked closely with Joey Gibson, the founder of the Christian nationalist group Patriot Prayer, and attracted support from a variety of far-right figures.

During his Senate confirmation hearing, Kent also refused to distance himself from a conspiracy theory that federal agents had somehow instigated the Jan. 6, 2021, attack at the Capitol, as well as false claims that Trump won the 2020 election over President Joe Biden.

Democrats grilled him on his participation in a group chat on Signal that was used by Trump’s national security team to discuss sensitive military plans.

They also raised grave concerns over a recent incident where Kent, as Gabbard’s chief of staff, told an intelligence analyst to revise an assessment of the relationship between the Venezuelan government and a transnational gang. The revisions supported Trump’s assertions that members of the gang could be removed under the Alien Enemies Act — a wartime provision.

Yeah I know all that, but see - Harris didn’t do anything for the working class.

Yeah bud, defending kamalas refusal to take any stance that would win her the election is really gonna show em. She cared so much about us that after she lost she retracted into obscurity and has refused to speak publicly about anything going on besides demanding Israel’s soldiers be released from captivity in the occupied concentration camp they were invading and killing civilians in. Great hill to die on, she’s definitely coming back for everyone who stood their ground for her.

Oh for sure, she’s the sole surviving leader of the entire non-MAGA population, which is why your retort is so spot-on and insightful. And like all political leaders, how much they care about us is really the key metric we’re looking for. Someone who may be shit at absorbing information, delegating duties, understanding procedures, and communicating effectively but will send us a winky-smiley face on our birthday is exactly the political leader we should support.

You know like that famous American leftist leader, um, you know the one who was all like . . . I mean I can’t think of them just now but obviously their ability to take these stances that will win them the election are why they’re national news. The groundswell is just unreal. For them. As you no doubt are aware.

That’s not true in the slightest. Harris has done tons after she lost. She just announced her new book, 107 Days, that’s gonna release this September! She’ll be vindicated for her peddling AIPAC propaganda, telling unions she doesn’t need them, shilling crypto, giving one last middle finger to NLRB, and…
