      I’m guessing it’s populism. Scapegoat climate change. Pretend it’s a money burning hoax. Appeal to the reactionary, less educated, impoverished.

      Lots of money in climate denialism. Even inside Europe, there’s profit to be made by rolling dirty. That, plus Putin / MBS / Qatar / Turkyie shills happy to bankroll a government that keeps sucking their pipes.

      Fascists take the cash and turn it into nationalist propaganda that make a climate crisis into a eugenics program.

      Mass depopulation of the Global South isn’t a bug for them, its a feature.
