I still don’t understand how anyone can continue to tolerate this situation. There are no significant civil protests, no visible political backlash. Everyone seems to be either passively accepting the current state of affairs or simply waiting for it to blow over (the majority appears to even support the ongoing cleansing of the country).
I mean the no kings protests were absolutely massive, but if you didn’t happen to go out that day you may not have seen them
