President Donald Trump on Monday reiterated that he is “allowed” to pardon Jeffrey Epstein’s co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell but told reporters that no one has asked him to issue one to her.

When asked on Monday if he would ever consider a pardon for Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year federal prison sentence for child sex trafficking and other crimes, Trump told reporters: “Well, I’m allowed to give her a pardon, but I — nobody’s approached me with it. Nobody’s asked me about it. It’s in the news about that, that aspect of it, but right now, it would be inappropriate to talk about it.”

This is what I see: if Trump does not show Maxwell he could give her something, she might say things he doesn’t want her to say. Is there another way of looking at it that I’m missing?

This is also saying, to everyone else on that list, “come kiss my ass and pay me because I hid the list and I can make Maxwell keep quiet, you need me”.

It’s part of him making others help more with getting the list off of the public consciousness. Any rich dudes or media owners are being told they need to be more proactive in stifling this. That’s the only reason to bring her up when he so desperately wants to let the whole thing blow over.

He’s also warming up the people to the concept of pardoning Maxwell using his “judgement” that she was wrongly accused … repeat the lie often enough and ppl will buy it, he/maga always used this strategy.

He pardoned the insurrectionists because he judged them innocent, and kept repeating that he thought they were so they must be innocent…

Whatever the actual (hidden) reasons are is to be made unimportant for the (maga)populace…
