Mostly the chaos of the Trump and Bibi administrations mean I don’t really want to live in either Israel or the US atm, was wondering if Canada is a good place to go to? I’m a rather left-liberal woman and I have a bacholers degree in education, so I have the means to move to another country but wondering if its worth it
Each province is a bit different. Jere are my notes from being in several.
Alberta is an oil and gas province and has a lot of maga types, so we call it North Texas. To balance that comment, many Albertans are very friendly and outgoing.
British Columbia has more open minded people, and focus on clean environment, but it is expensive to live in BC. Vancouver is a cold (socially) city, people have established cliques and you will find the outgoing friendly people are immigrants from other countries or provinces.
Ontario has a lot of opportunity but each city can have a different feel. Avoid Windsor, even though it has cheaper housing than say Toronto, it is a blue collar town with many small minded people.
I’ve never had any issues with healthcare in any province. It’s been a great system, especially when I got cancer.
It would be nice to become a Canadian citizen and get to use their healthcare system, since American health care is such a nightmare, don’t think I need to go into details
Prairie provinces are great if you don’t mind the cold. Totally underrated.
I couldn’t comment on them, I only have passes through the prairies, not enough knowledge to comment correctly
